Information We Collect

We collect information you choose to give us directly through the forms on this site — the contact form and the products waitlist form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, company name, and any message you write to us. This information is stored in our content-management database.

We also collect anonymous, aggregate usage analytics (page views and general site engagement) via Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies or track you individually across sites.

How We Use This Information

We use the information submitted through our forms to respond to your inquiry, to notify you when a waitlisted product launches, and to keep an internal record of the conversation. We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

The Site Assistant

This site offers a site assistant — a chat feature that answers questions about how NovScope can help and can capture your details as a booking request so our team can follow up. To generate its replies, the messages you send are processed by a third-party model provider, Ollama Cloud, acting on our behalf. We send only the conversation itself; we do not share it with that provider for their own marketing.

For security and to support you, we keep a log of your conversation with the assistant — using the assistant means the conversation is logged. We store the transcript together with a one-way, hashed form of your IP address (never your raw IP address). Anything you submit as a booking (your name, email, and message) is handled exactly like a contact-form submission described above.

Data Retention

We retain contact and waitlist submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

We retain site-assistant conversation logs for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. You can contact us about a stored transcript using the details below.

Your Rights

You may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by emailing hello@novscope.com. We will respond within 30 days.
